Since it was another beautiful day, Uncle Anthony planned another fantastic day out for the whole family, this time at the beautiful Holkham Beach. The drive up the Norfolk coast was breathtakingly beautiful with some amazing beaches and villages that I would have loved to have stopped at given more time. Once we arrived at Holkham, it was already pretty busy and it was easy to see why. This is a stunning beach and nature reserve. It was a bit of a walk to the beach (through beautiful woodland) but it was well worth it as we were rewarded with beautiful white sand as far as the eye could see. Rory loved splashing around with his Uncle and making a train track with him and Granddad K. Soon enough we were all hungry so we crossed the road and ate at the beautiful Victoria. It’s worth going to Holkham just for this place alone. After another scenic drive home we snuggled in to watch Andy Murray play in the Wimbledon final. With lots of nail biting and hiding behind hands, we were delighted when he won in three straight sets! An historical moment, which I was so thrilled to be home in the UK for.
