A snowy, snuggly day

Yay, it’s Friday. Woke up to gentle snowfall so decided it wasn’t a good idea to be outside for too long today. In the morning we headed over to Lora, Oliver and Maeve’s house for a morning of baking bread. The boys were both very interested and helpful, assisting in measuring and pouring all of the ingredients. After a yummy lunch together we headed home where we donned our snuggly moccasins, baked the bread, (I wish you could have smelt it) snuggled in and watched the snowstorm get heavier. During nap time a gorgeous surprise parcel came for me; this amazing book that the thoughtful Cath had sent for my birthday. Feeling very inspired to try a few little sewing projects. After nap Rory played quietly whilst I did a few jobs. He’s really enjoying the wooden blocks that the lovely Lisa and Craig gave him and today started sorting them and building a tower. O arrived home earlier than usual and Rory was incredibly excited to share his “bed” (bread) with him so we did a simple supper of Rory’s toasted bread topped with avocado, grilled halloumi and poached egg. Yummy. Good baking Rorykins.
