St. Nicholas Abbey

After a morning swim and leisurely breakfast we decided to go on a family outing to St. Nicholas Abbey, which isn’t in fact an Abbey, but a plantation and rum distillery. The house itself is a fantastic Jacobean structure which has been preserved beautifully and very interesting to look around. The rum they distill there is delicious – we all indulged in a cheeky rum punch. Rory loved all of the vintage buses they had and had a good chat with a parrot.
