Making bread

Rory and I enjoyed a chilled start to the week by having a busy but relaxing Monday. We enjoyed a lovely long Skype with Granny M before making some potato, broccoli and parmesan soup for this evening. Rory is enjoying our new floor cushion and is now using our ottoman as a table for puzzles etc. He’s really getting into using his Tegu set that Grandma and Grandpa got him for Christmas last year, separating all of the pieces, sticking them to our magnetic cupboard and then collecting them all up and putting them back in their case. This afternoon we went to nursery for our weekly parent and child class where Rory helped bake some bread that he later enjoyed eating at snack time. I even got to try some and it was delicious! I’m starting to think I need Rory to help out more with preparing food at home; he’s good at it.
