Wimbledon

The majority of our day was spent watching a brilliant Wimbledon men’s final with Murray and Federer battling it out. Obviously it was extra exciting for us as we finally had a Brit in the final (not seen since 1937) but such a shame that he lost! It goes without saying that we enjoyed strawberries and cream, unfortunately we were lacking in the Pimms that usually gets served with it so couldn’t do Pimm’s O’Clock.  Whilst watching, I took the opportunity to do a spot of cooking: a potato salad, a beetroot, feta, quinoa and pine nut salad and a batch of chicken, vegetable and pasta chowder for Rorykins.
