Williamsburg

Today O, Rory and I caught the ferry to cool Williamsburg where we enjoyed exploring and eating too much. First stop was the brilliant Depanneur, a food shop that sells delicious (British) treats and a deli/coffee shop, this is a must visit. We treated ourselves to some elderflower cordial, British chocolate and some sweet biscuits. Next was the old worldly Moon River Chattel, where jazz was playing and you tend to get lost amongst the wonderful linens and antiques and end up browsing far too many books. After picking up a few stocking fillers for Rory from the brilliant Mini Jake, we all sat down to a delicious lunch at The Meatball Shop, where we enjoyed a spiced cider and some yummy comfort food. In the afternoon we continued to shop at favorite shops such as Sweet William, A&G Merch and Phoneix and Nola. Once at home we treated ourselves to a Jacques Torres hot chocolate and dipped our newly purchased Curly Wurly in. All in all a brilliant, but exhausting day.
