Now I’ve had the all clear from the Doctor I’m allowed to begin to exercise again. This is incredibly exciting as exercise will both help me shift those awkward last pregnancy pounds as well as giving me more energy to deal with a baby. I’ve decided to start slow, as it’s a workout in itself looking after a baby, so I purchased a Pilates DVD called Post-Natal Pilates. The brilliant thing about this workout is that you do the whole routine with your baby. Being an active baby, Rory loves it. It’s incredibly funny using him to do bicep curls etc. but it’s a great way to both tone up and spend quality active time with him.
