Thistle Hill Tavern

There is no sign of Baby Egan yet so O and I are taking full advantage of our last few days as a twosome by going out for delicious meals and exploring new places. Today we returned to Park Slope (but went in another direction to last week) and stumbled across the brilliant ‘Thistle Hill Tavern’. It had been recommended by Time Out as a place to try based on their excellent salt and pepper French fries (which certainly didn’t disappoint). The atmosphere was incredibly friendly and relaxed and really reminded us of a gastro pub back in London. The food was delish, the service quick and amiable, and both drinks and food were very reasonably priced: all in all a great find which I highly recommend.
