In a bid to moisturise my ever growing belly and generally try to avoid any sort of stretch mark I have invested in some rather wonderful products which I will be slathering on every day. They’re by the brilliant Mama Mio who make all sorts of yummy skincare and happen to have a pregnancy line. I purchased the Tummy Rub Stretch Mark Butter to use in the day and the Tummy Rub Stretch Mark Oil to soak in overnight. They’re both loaded with Omega 3, 6 and 9 and full of good things that won’t harm baby. I’m not sure if they’ll prevent the stretch marks but they feel like a treat and smell divine.
Tonight was such a beautiful evening that O and I decided to go for a walk. We stuck to the neighbourhood and ventured up onto the delightful High Line. The High Line was a freight railroad built in the 1930s but by 1980 had fallen out of use. It has recently been preserved and restored as a beautiful urban park and is a must for all visiting New York. I particularly like the viewing arena where you can gaze down 10th Avenue. A lovely thing to do at any time of the day, put particularly hand in hand on a beautiful summer evening.
